Great design does not make a home expensive, it just makes for a very interesting and enjoyable place to live and secures long term equity for its owner. Simply put…whether it is a 1000 sq ft bungalow or a large custom, a well designed and beautiful home provides great value on every level.

We feel strongly that designing a perfect plan up front is the best investment anyone can make. The overall cost of designing, engineering, permitting and building a great house is a dynamic process that can be controlled with some careful planning from the beginning. Our experience shows that a well designed plan will actually save money in the long run because of minimal changes and efficient build considerations.

We have been involved with the construction side for 30 years and have the added benefit of understanding what will be efficient and a good practical balance in a structure. We love managing the build process on our plans internally when time permits and in our first decade of business we enjoyed building the homes we designed for almost all of our clients. It has been a privilege to be involved in many Parade of Homes and very gratifying to experience the accomplished enjoyment with clients and the many attendees. Friendships continue to develop and grow from those events and provide our greatest reward through the regard we feel when clients refer their friends. We love to create fabulous homes and that passion has resulted in an increase of design requests that now exceed our capacity to build. The field experience has refined our skill and understanding of the design process that now demands our primary focus. Even though we can now only build a fraction of what we design, working with each client through the creative process gives the same sense of achievement…almost as if we get to be there, in some way, as each home takes shape.

Our design services are not for everyone. There are designers who will put together a nice home that will function and adequately meet most needs. If you want a standard home that will look good, we are probably not your best fit. If you want a fabulous home that exceeds your expectations on every level, is perfectly suited for your needs, and is a pleasure to drive up to every day…we would love to visit with you. After we spend some time understanding your needs, we can send you a portfolio of similar projects for your review. There may be a plan we have designed previously that largely suits your requirements. In that case, we may be able to save a lot of time and money by customizing the existing plan.

Every project gives us the same surge of enthusiasm because we have the privilege of artfully designing the gathering place that will captivate the experiences and dreams of a lifetime. Our previous clients call us sometimes with a great compliment…folks will be out front in their car admiring or taking pictures of their home. Some will even stop and express their admiration for the home’s charm.
